Who We Are.
We created Seriously Coffee in November 2024 in the heart of the Kawartha Lakes. After many years in the coffee industry, we noticed the care and quality that customers expected was no longer present. With Seriously Coffee, it will be.
Seriously Coffee is not just a coffee service. If you require tea options, we have you covered. If you need supplies such as cups, dairy or sugar, Seriously Coffee can offer you an array of options.
Armando (A.J.) Nobrega is a former chef turned coffee aficionado, and the founder and operator of Seriously Coffee & Services Inc.
Born on the Portuguese Island of Madeira and later emigrating with his parents and brother to the British Channel Island of Jersey, Armando has lived and worked in several countries and now calls the beautiful town of Lindsay, Ontario home.
While completing his culinary arts degree in Jersey, Armando spent years excelling in customer service roles. He then went on to work in many different culinary environments, from 5 star hotels in the British Channel Islands to the American Army in Wiesbaden Germany, and everything in between, from fine dining restaurants to retirement homes.
After meeting his wife and settling down with their two children in Lindsay, Armando took a position managing a local coffee distribution and service company where he passionately served local businesses for almost a decade. When the company underwent structural changes, Armando missed the close personal relationships he had built with his clients. Dreaming of offering bespoke services to local clientele once again, Armando created Seriously Coffee Services Inc.
